In the coming weeks, Silk will be a welcome addition to Move decks as well as a really strong two-cost card that will find its way into a variety of decks. She is only the second two-cost card with five power, after Lizard, and she offers really strong value at five power.

In contrast to Lizard, who loses three power if the opponent stacks four cards nearby, Silk doesn’t lose any power unless the opponent buffs her. This makes her very powerful right away, though her card text does have a few warnings.

Silk will relocate if a card is dealt at her location before it is dealt elsewhere. Kraven is now always a good player because he gets a buff whenever a card comes close to him. Miles Morales will be made more capable by her constant movement, so his inclusion also immediately benefits her. However, she will have a terrible time at places like Fisk Tower, where she will be killed.

To lessen the likelihood that Silk moves to a spot you don’t want her at, you can use Silk’s ability to play to her strengths or even just wait to play her out on turn six. Later this month, when Spider-Man 2099 joins the game, Marvel Snap’s Move decks will receive yet another upgrade, completing the Spider-Verse season.
