Minji once again demonstrated his atypical behavior and masochistic perspective. The guy is powerless to stop it, and he’d already experienced life as a second-class citizen in another universe. He was able to escape and return to his own planet, but not without some difficulty.

In Chapter 38 of The Dark Mage’s Return to Enlistment, the troops undergo a tough training. After four or five panels, the soldier realizes why he is dreading the drill so much. The understanding that their leader truly despises them and takes masochistic delight in sending them on missions.
The other trainees were beginning to feel down on their luck, but Kim Minji was having the time of his life. On the other hand, this was one of the chapters when Kim Minji was silent for the majority of the time. This installment of the action series primarily served to provide background information.
As the story progresses, we find out that the men were training for Trench Combat. The only weapons allowed are the fighters’ fists and any martial arts they know. The largest character in the story naturally benefits the most.
In the opening lines of Chapter 39 of The Dark Mage’s Return to Enlistment, Kim Minji vows vengeance against Choi Seungwoo. For the majority of the previous chapter, the fantasy protagonist had been relaxed, treating the drill like actual fieldwork. Unfortunately, Choi Seungwoo interrupted the celebration, dampening spirits not just for himself but also for his fellow soldiers.
Trench combat’s primary function is to offer soldiers a chance to relax and get some physical activity while on duty. However, as is the case with any activity, the seniors had begun using the game as a value-judgment tool. Kim has decided to even the odds by defeating Choi Seungwoo, so that should make things interesting in the next chapter. The huge guy will learn what it’s like to lose publicly for once.
