Match Highlights and recap of Fnatic vs. Talon Esports

The team is trying to offer Fnatic a victory before it leaves the area because this is their final Dota 2 tournament appearance. Fnatic’s final performance, however, was intended to be ruined by Talon Esports. Fnatic shocked the community during their most recent Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) match by shocking Talon Esports by winning a series after dropping six straight series that resulted in the team being demoted to Division II for the first time ever.

From Game 2 onward, Fnatic was compelled to play with Juan “BDz” Manalo & Park “March” Tae-won of Execration as fill-ins because Jaunuel “Jaunuel” Arcilla was unable to continue due to a blackout in his neighbourhood.

Match Recap

Match 1

With Magnus for Kim “Gabbi” Santos and Pangolier for Armel “Armel” Tabios in Game One, Fnatic made a strong yet successful selection. Rafli “Mikoto” Rahman was chosen by Talon Esports to receive the Puck. However, Fnatic appeared to be the stronger team as they were able to consistently pick off Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon’s Templar Assassin in team fights. Despite the early game’s lack of action, both teams were constantly trading blows in the middle of the match. After 41 minutes, Talon Esports managed a sluggish comeback and won Game One thanks to Mikoto’s brilliant puck handling.

Match 2

While Fnatic chose Slark for Gabbi in Game Two, Talon Esports chose a more reliable selection with the Faceless Void-Batrider team. Talon’s core heroes were getting an edge as Fnatic crumbled under pressure. Fnatic was compelled to concede the game after 16 minutes because they were unable to postpone it for long enough for their main characters to perform to their late-game potential.

Match 3

Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong was picked up by Talon again in Game Three using Nature’s Prophet, while Gabbi was picked up by Fnatic using Magnus. But in the early stages of the game, Talon Esports simply destroyed Fnatic’s tactics from the start, mirroring what happened in Game Two. Even though Fnatic was adamant about holding onto its base until the very last player, the team called “GG” just before the 24th-minute mark knowing that their time in the competitive arena was over.
