The fans are excited for Tasuketsu Episode 1 which will be out soon. Taiga Miyakawa’s written and illustrated manga of the same name serves as the inspiration for the series. The manga’s publisher, Micro Magazine, has issued six volumes as of December 2020. Released in January 2021, Tasuketsu: Judgement Assizes is a 7-minute Original Video Animation (OVA) based on the anime.

The enigmatic Emperor takes over the lives of the citizens of Tokyo in the series, putting five players in a life-or-death predicament. An anonymous message is broadcast worldwide in the trailer, and the participants must respond in real time or perish. The outcome is determined by the majority vote.
Tatsuo Sato is both writing and directing the series. For Saaya Fujishiro, we have Anna Nagase, who previously voiced Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad Isekai. The voice actors roster will expand to include Masatomo Nakazawa, Kazuki Ura, Yuki Nakashima, Shuta Morishima, and Anna.
Voice actors Kazuki Ura (Yoichi Isagi) and Masatomo Nakazawa (Wataru Kuon) had collaborated on sets of Blue Lock before. Vivarush, a well-known band, performs the opening theme piece, Emperor Time. R.O.N. is composing the score for the show.
