Kumanomi and Carolina’s plot to confront Shishiba and Amane continues in Chapter 160 of Sakamoto Days, continuing from the events of Chapter 159. Amane resists Shishiba’s advice to leave the battlefield, believing that they should continue fighting side by side. While Carolina faces off against Amane, Kumanomi takes against Shishiba.
Carolina turns a flame into the Gas Saber by blowing into it. Carolina warns Amane that it has the potential to split apart skulls and set fire to flesh. After examining Carolina’s weapon, Amane launches an assault on him. Shishiba keeps an eye on Amane from a distance. Because she wants him to pay attention to their battle, this annoys Kumanomi. Fighting her is something Shishiba would rather avoid.
As a result of Carolina’s weapon, Kumanomi notices that the room is getting hotter. Defying Carolina’s assaults, Amane guides him to safety. Shishiba seizes the chance to attack and kick Amane in the curve after Kumanomi guesses her strategy. Shishiba smashes Carolina through a wall while she’s preoccupied. After reuniting with Amane, Shishiba compliments him on his strategy. For information regarding his father, Amane approaches Shishiba. At the end of the chapter, Shishiba confesses to Amane that he murdered his father.
