Clash Royale has introduced a new update on March 27th, 2023, that features revamped events in the game. Now, players can receive rewards regardless of their win or loss. The update encourages players to participate in events and earn Season tokens, which lead to more rewards. With this new feature, players can have a more enjoyable experience and feel more incentivized to play the game. Clash Royale has expanded its event offerings, providing players with three distinct events that feature various game modes:
• Main Event
• 1v1 Event
• 2v2 Event
All of these events will grant Season Tokens as rewards.
The Main Event introduces fresh gameplay and cards, reminiscent of the traditional Special Challenges. However, the biggest variation is that these challenges are available for players to participate in as long as they are active, without the need to retry or continue. This offers an excellent opportunity for players to try out new decks and enjoy their preferred game modes to their heart’s content. The Main Event is scheduled to feature a rotation of various game modes throughout the season, providing players with a diverse range of challenges to tackle. With the Main Event’s arrival, players can look forward to an immersive and exciting experience that promises to keep them entertained for hours on end.
Players can now enjoy their favourite game modes in the Events Tab, which features the previously Party-exclusive game modes. These game modes will rotate regularly, with 1v1 and 2v2 events happening more frequently than the Main Event. This provides players with more opportunities to experience different gameplay styles and compete with other players.
Introducing Season Tokens to streamline player rewards. By participating in events, players earn Season Tokens, which can be spent in the Season Shop for various rewards. Gold, Magic Items like Books, Wild Cards, Battle Banners, Emotes, and more are available for selection. The rewards offered in the Season Shop will change every season, giving players new options to choose from.

Participating in Events allows players to earn up to 1000 Season Tokens per day, which can be increased with a Season Boost up to a maximum of 7000 Tokens. The Season Boost is available in the Season Shop. Players can continue to play Events even after reaching their Daily Cap. Losing in Events is not a total loss, as players can still earn Tokens. The number of Tokens earned depends on the outcome of the Event Battle.
Players can earn a certain amount of Season Tokens at the end of an Event Battle based on the following:
• Crown Towers Destroyed
• Crown Towers Defended
• Elixir Spent
Players should ensure that they acquire all necessary items from the Season Shop before the start of a new Season as the shop and Season Tokens are reset at the beginning of each new season.
• Card Levels and Tower Power are capped at Level 11.
• Classic Challenges are still available.
• Special Challenges that require continues, retries, or only allow for a certain amount of losses still exist, but are now not the only way to experience new events and gameplay.
• Players can only earn Season Tokens from Events, players don’t earn Crowns, chests, or Victory Gold.
Pass Royale now offers three versions of reward tiers: Free, Gold, and Diamond. Players can earn up to six crowns per Battle and unlock rewards specific to each Pass Royale tier. Additionally, each Crown Tower left standing will award players with a Crown, while destroying an enemy’s Crown Tower still grants players one Crown. Crown collection remains the primary method for unlocking rewards in Pass.
Supercell Games is expanding Pass Royale to cover more Reward Tiers, replacing the Gold Bank. This will enable players to unlock additional Tiers with a longer Pass duration.
Pass Royale has undergone some changes and now offers players a variety of rewards, including Battle Banners, Magic Items, and exclusive cosmetics. The introduction of Season Tokens is a major update, as it allows players to buy what they want from the Season Shop instead of relying on luck with Chest drops. This update offers greater flexibility and customization for players looking to enhance their gaming experience in Clash Royale.

This includes all Gold Pass perks, which will upgrade the Clan gift to a premium Clan gift.
