This chapter 89 of “Return of the Shattered Constellation” gets really interesting. A ghost known as “The Tiger That Has Been Trapped in Hardships” finds amusement in a mortal’s defiance of the gods. Gemini, another celestial character, seems to be keeping an aloof and mysterious eye on everything.
Once again, “Gemini” is being held guilty for the death of Kali, a potent force, in this chapter. The protagonist starts to worry about what happened while he was away on a trial of divine punishment. They start to question if their actions have caused others’ difficulties.
In this section, we explore a new type of danger known as a “Divine Parasite Tree.” Because it feels stifled by its confinement, this tree sets out to learn more about the world, particularly Earth. As soon as it begins to stretch its roots, the Divine Parasite Tree destroys the island known as the “Island of Blue Gems,” triggering a Dungeon Break and changing the objective theme to “Logging.”
It has aspirations to expand its dominion to the remainder of the globe once it has reached that point. The protagonist’s motivation to eliminate the Parasite Tree and revive the Elfin Root stems from his sense of personal responsibility for the disaster and the link between it and that entity. This narrative makes it extremely evident that constellations, as a type of heavenly thing, are keeping an eye on and contributing to Earth’s dire predicament.
