Joo-Gul starts out the previous episode by avoiding the concealed sword that was practically staring at him. It posed a threat to him regardless of his knowledge of the concealed dagger technique, in which the adversary infuses inner energy while throwing the dagger.
Tang Jan’s strength was apparent to Joo-Gul. The scene shifted to a flashback of Chung instructing the others in swordsmanship. They weren’t brandishing a sword, but rather a large wooden pole bound with stone.
The skill of the Mount Hua sect is based on the deft handling of the sword, which is like an auxiliary arm. Joo-Gul confidently employed the plum blossom technique to dodge every single dagger despite confronting a multitude of them.
The sight of the plum blossoms caught his parents and Baek Chun by surprise. In fact, Tang Jan was releasing the eleven concealed dagger technique, thus he was far from defeated. It began to approach Joo-Gul in a measured and precise fashion.
