Most of the shows this week failed to impress, but Re:monster (which was, I’ll admit, not very remarkable) succeeded in keeping my attention.
It amazes me that Ogrou refrained from consuming the soul stone. During his brief encounter with the human army on behalf of the Elves, the little bird/bug lad mentioned evolution, and I was under the impression that he had acquired it in this way.
It makes me happy that he received the blessing and status enhancements; also, sonic flight is more impressive than bug wings. After all, wings are wings.
Now I’m curious as to why, during his battle with the red bear, he didn’t simply gnaw on his own hand… He wouldn’t have gotten the gauntlet if he had worn plot armor, but that’s all I’m saying.
The Royal Capital? Strong Reactions? In the following episode or two, as the season comes to a close, things will likely start to heat up.
