According to a new data mine of Pokemon Go, Shaymin will be coming to the game across the globe with a new research quest pretty soon. When speaking of Legendary or Mythical creatures inside the game, players across the world tend to look for a chance to capture it.

Shaymin, however, has only been made available if players buy a ticket to the Pokemon Go Fest 2022 Finale Event. Players are also required to complete the ‘A Radiant Reunion’ Special Research quest.

Popular PoGo data miners PokeMiners have found an upcoming research quest that finally introduces the Gratitude Pokemon to trainers across the globe.

Datamine takes wraps off Shaymin Global Research

PokeMiners, April 18, posted a variety of texts that are added to the game including research titles for Sustainability Week, upcoming box names, alongside the much-awaited Shaymin global research.

It’s unclear how many pages the research will have for trainers to complete, but the name of the research focuses on the fact that it’s global. The text also addresses both Sky and Land Forme Shaymin, so it could give trainers the chance to change forms mid-research.

It could be introduced to the game sooner than many players would expect, as Pokemon Go’s April Content Update infographic show a Limited Research event that will take place on April 23.

The Limited Research event will take place in the middle of Sustainability Week, which focuses on other various grass-type Pokemon in order to fit the Shaymin event with it.

How to get a Sun Stone in the game?

The Sun Stone item in Pokemon Go is great for trainers to evolve certain Pokemon into their final forms. Finding evolution items in the game can always be tricky, but they’re even more difficult to come across in Pokemon Go as trainers can’t simply visit a specific location like they could in the mainline games.

In the game, finding certain items is simply up to luck, which also happens to be the case for the Sun Stone. Still, if players try to find a Sun Stone to allow players to evolve the likes of Cottonee Gloom, Lilligant, or Helioptile into their final forms in Pokemon Go, we have them covered.

Sun Stones can only be acquired by spinning PokeStops and Gyms. With a measly 1% drop rate, getting one of these stones is pretty tough. To make matters more difficult, Sun Stones drop alongside the game’s other Evolution items, which means players’ chances of getting one are very slim. This is because players can end up with a different item instead.
