One Punch Man is a manga series written and illustrated by ONE, who began publishing it on his personal blog in 2009. The series quickly went viral and was later picked up for official publication by Shueisha’s Young Jump Web Comics in 2012. The story follows the adventures of Saitama, a superhero who can defeat any opponent with a single punch but becomes bored with his own power and struggles to find worthy opponents. The manga has been adapted into an anime series and has become a cultural phenomenon, with merchandise, spin-offs, and video games. The series is still ongoing with the latest chapter being released weekly. One Punch Man Chapter 180: Tatsumaki continues to fight against Saitama.

In the Middle of Something: Chapter 180 One Punch Man

In the previous chapter, we witnessed Tatsumaki engaged in a heated battle with Saitama in the vicinity of the Hero Association. However, her primary concern at the moment appeared to be centred around whether there was any romantic interest between Saitama and Fubuki.

In this chapter, we see Tatsumaki fighting Saitama near the Hero Association, and her main concern seems to be whether or not Saitama and Fubuki have romantic feelings for each other. Tatsumaki continues to Blast Saitama away, and we cut back to Fubuki with the Blizzard Group at the Hero Association. Fubuki remembers what Tatsumaki said to them – “If none of you will cut ties, then I’ll cut them for you.” It’s clear that Tatsumaki has become unhinged, and it’s now become life-threatening. Tatsumaki even disbanded the Blizzard Group, saying that they were too weak and completely useless. She did this to save them from herself, as she has become too powerful and has strong mental health issues at the moment.

The chapter continues to follow the webcomic closely, as we follow the A-Class hero Feather. He has gotten himself into trouble trying to protect a woman who he assumed was being held as a hostage with the “strongest gang in the city.” It turns out that the woman was not a hostage and instead betrayed Feather to the boss, who has an A-Class bounty on him. Feather is about to go full power, but Saitama and Tatsumaki bust through the wall and knock him out. Saitama takes out the leader with a single punch, who had an A-Class bounty on him. We never go too much into the A-Class bounty, and it’s unclear if it lines up directly with the significance of an A-Class hero.

After this, we cut to H City, where a massive monster named the Kenzon Rat is attacking it. This is one of the biggest monsters we’ve seen in the series, and it’s a new Dragon-level monster that we haven’t seen in a while. The only hero nearby is Metal Bat, and he runs towards the monster to try and take it down. It’s unclear if Metal Bat can take down the monster by himself, but he has fought dragons alone before. However, Saitama and Tatsumaki fly through the monster, taking it out in the process, and destroying a couple of buildings.

Tatsumaki continues to fly with Saitama, throwing him through buildings, and Saitama asks her why they came outside in the first place if she’s going to keep destroying everything. The chapter ends here.

Overall, this chapter follows the webcomic closely and continues to introduce new threats to the city. Tatsumaki’s mental health issues are becoming a significant concern, and it’s clear that she’s becoming more dangerous to those around her. The introduction of the Kenzon Rat is an exciting addition to the series, and it’s intriguing to see how Metal Bat would have handled the situation if Saitama and Tatsumaki hadn’t intervened.
