He did, however, restart his heartbeat with the “Drums of Liberation.” Luffy was able to continue his fight with Kaido as a result of this.

It’s unclear how long he’ll be able to stay with Gear Fifth. Readers will have to wait and see what happens in the coming weeks. Gear Fourth had significant stamina drawbacks, so it stands to reason that Gear Fifth will as well.
For over 800 years, the World Government had a strong desire for this Mythical Zoan fruit. They have every reason to be concerned now that Luffy has fully mastered it. Once Kaido is defeated, only a few characters can stand up to Luffy. By this point in the story, Gear Fifth has become far too powerful.
Having said that, Blackbeard has the best chance of facing Luffy on an equal footing. The Devil Fruit’s powers are easily negated by the Yami Yami no Mi. As Nika the Sun God, the Straw Hat represents light, so it’s only natural that Blackbeard is his worst enemy. The latter is the physical manifestation of darkness.
Keep in mind that Luffy will almost certainly use Gear Fifth as a last resort.
