Crunchyroll, the popular streaming service for anime and manga content, has announced that it will be premiering the English dub of the hit anime series, My Home Hero, on Sunday. The anime is an adaptation of the manga series of the same name by Naoki Yamakawa and Masashi Asaki, which follows the story of a salaryman who enters a dangerous world to protect his family after finding out that his daughter has been beaten.
The English dub of My Home Hero will feature the talented voice acting skills of Aaron Roberts, Morgan Lauré, Kelly Greenshield, and Nazeeh Tarsha, among others. Roberts will be playing the lead character, Tetsuo, while Lauré will voice Kasen, Greenshield will play Reika, and Tarsha will be Kyoichi. Jarrod Greene, Jordan Dash Cruz, and Eric Vale are also part of the cast. The English dub premiere is scheduled for Sunday on Crunchyroll.
The My Home Hero manga series has been serialized in Weekly Young Magazine since May 2017 and has been highly popular among fans of the genre. The story follows the life of a salaryman who has a reliable wife and a university-going daughter. His life takes a dramatic turn when he finds out that his daughter has been beaten, and he enters a dangerous world to protect his family.
The anime adaptation of My Home Hero is directed by Takashi Kamei, and Kohei Kiyasu is supervising the series’ scripts. Masatsune Noguchi is responsible for designing the characters, while Yukio Abe is the art designer. Kenji Kawai is composing the music, and Takumi Itō is the sound director. Kiyotaka Kawada is credited for sound effects.
