Two fan favorite Call of Duty maps have been confirmed to move to Modern Warfare 2 when Season 1 arrives next week, Infinity Ward has confirmed. Shoothouse and Shipment will return when the first Modern Warfare 2 season ends on November 16 in the form of redrawn maps. This follows rumors of two maps returning to the game as part of several new features and additions coming for Modern Warfare 2 Season One.Two of the most popular maps of 2019’s Modern Warfare are making the long-awaited return. Modern Warfare 2 Season 1: Shoot House, Shipment, And More

Both maps have been reworked for Modern Warfare 2 and have been given slight tweaks. But don’t worry—they’re still the same maps you know and love.The new shoot house is located in the woods south of Los Almas, a training ground for hired cartel guns. It’s a small, three-lane map that was known for its stellar pacing and flow, and its successor looks set to live up to that name.

The shipment is also looking even more frightening than before. Set on a cargo ship carrying waters across the stormy Atlantic Ocean, the new shipment looks primed for more chaos. This incredibly small map will let you rack up a hundred kills – or die multiple times. And if you’re a little too adventurous and try to drown in the water, the ocean awaits.Shoot House will be available when Season 1 launches, but shipments will drop only in the middle of the season in call of duty modern warfare 2 game.

Ranked play is also coming to Modern Warfare in future seasons. Treyarch is working closely with Infinity Ward on the new mod, modeled after CDL.Infinity Ward said this competitive experience will build on continuous feedback from the past two years, and will include a ranked skill division, visible skill ratings, a top 250 leaderboard and awards for the best players.

In the meantime, though, a special CDL Moshpit playlist is being added. This playlist is a prelude to Ranked Mode and will use CDL rules, restrictions, and map rotation in its three official game modes: Hardpoint, Search and Destroy, and Control.If you want to practice some before rank drop, that’s it.Season 1 also brings four new weapons and six operators in addition to the game’s first Battle Pass. The Victus XMR sniper rifle and the BAS-P SMG will be available via Battle Pass. On the other hand, the Chimera Assault Rifle and M13B Assault Rifle will need to be unlocked through the Store Bundle or the Weapon Unlock Challenge.

Operators Zeus, Klaus and Gaz are also joining the roster in Season 1, along with three football stars. Neymar Jr., Paul Pogba and Lionel Messi are debuting during the Modern Warfare FC event, and players can unlock them by purchasing special, limited-time bundles.And if you’re looking for hardcore mode, there’s a new playlist coming at the end of Season 1 called Tier 1, which features reduced health, limited HUD elements, and friendly fire. Combat records will also be added to the game, allowing players to view their statistics.
