Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer is going to be showcased for the audience at the Call of Duty Next, and then PC players will be able to play the game at the crossplay beta weekend. Infinity Ward have now revealed what the Modern Warfare 2 PC requirements are going to be like. Know all about the Modern Warfare 2 PC requirements: What is the best setting for you?

Modern Warfare 2 will be released on PC and consoles on October 28, but players will be able ot play and experience the game at the open beta. PlayStation players get an exclusive weekend after the Call of Duty Next event.

Modern Warfare 2 minimum PC requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 – 64 Bit (latest update)
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-3570 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon RX 470
  • Video Memory: 3GB
  • RAM: 16GB RAM
  • Storage Space: 25GB
  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
  • Recommended Graphic Drivers: NVIDIA: 516.79 or AMD: 21.9.1

Modern Warfare 2 recommended PC requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 – 64 Bit (latest update)
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K or AMD Ryzen 7 1800X
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580
  • Video Memory: 3GB
  • RAM: 16GB RAM
  • Storage Space: 25GB
  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
  • Recommended Graphic Drivers: NVIDIA: 516.79 or AMD: 21.9.1

The recommended GPUs are the same as for Vanguard, but to match Infinity Ward’s suggested settings for the beta, you’ll need to update the CPU and go up to 16GB of RAM. You should be able to turn up the graphical settings and keep a steady frame rate with this gear.

These are merely the beta PC specifications at this time, so there’s a chance that they’ll alter before the game’s official release after people get their hands on it.
