In response to Yuuki’s challenge, Shushu says that a backwash is his recompense for defeating a Thunder God. But Yuuki would have none of it; he demands that Shushu get compensation as well. Shushu feels revitalized and questions if she should give in to her feelings for Yuuki now that she has reacted. But Yuuki jumps out of the tub at the last minute.
Finding each other nude in the changing room is embarrassing for Himari and Yuuki. Himari denies seeing the sign and claims she only watched Shushu go in the bath; nevertheless, Yuuki frantically explains that Shushu had put it up to alert people that he was in the area. As he hastily exits the changing room, Yuuki observes that Himari has “grown” and recalls how, during their previous encounter, Himari pursued him using a chainsaw. But Himari sees this as evidence that her body has grown more “womanly” and finds his rejection scandalous, so she rejects him.
Kyouka and Yuuki go to check on Varvara after hearing from Yakumo in another changing room that her Pantheon ability has been fading. Yakumo asks if she can see Kyouka in her undergarments instead when Kyouka refuses her advances toward a massage for Varvara; however, Kyouka has already left when Yakumo arrives.
At the 8th Unit dorm, Prachi informs Jenna that Kyouka has arrived to assist Varvara. Prachi is scrambling to think of a “quip” to answer Jenna’s question regarding Varvara’s recovery, but she comes up empty.
Simultaneously, Kyouka approaches Varvara to inquire about her powers, and Yuuki joins her in this endeavor. According to Varvara, her lessened skills are probably the result of her overexerting herself in her combat against Fukuma. Because Varvara is afraid Kyouka would be startled, she is afraid to tell her that she can see her ability. Regardless, Kyouka inquires. After Kyouka tells Varvara that she plans to offer a hand, Varvara accepts.
