Loving Yamada at Lv999! is a heartwarming anime that follows the adventures of a group of friends who play the popular online game “Fantasy of Swords” (FOS). Episode 4, “Are You In Love with Yamada?” is a pivotal episode where Akane and the audience realize the true extent of her feelings for Yamad
In this episode, we meet Rurihime, a handsome guy who turns out to be Yamada’s old school friend Eita. We also meet Takezo, an old man who specializes in raiding dungeons. Akane has never met Takezo before, which highlights how vast and diverse the world of FOS is.
We also meet Runa, Eita’s sister, who plays FOS so rarely that almost no one else knows she is a guild member. Runa hates Akane’s casual relationship with Yamada and demands to know if she loves him. This confrontation causes Akane to realize that she probably does have a crush on Yamada.
