Kingdom Season 5 is now set for January 13 due to a recent earthquake. Originally planned for January 6, the delay is a result of NHK covering the New Year’s Day quake. The season brings fresh faces and the return of our favorite characters, with DeNeel and Novel Core handling the theme songs. Among the new cast members are Kentaro Ito and Haruka Nagamine. Kingdom’s anime journey began in 2012, streamed by Funimation in North America. Despite a pandemic pause, the series returned in April 2021 and continued with a fourth season in 2022. Yasuhisa Hara’s manga, starting in 2006, brilliantly narrates Xin’s dream of becoming a general in ancient China.
