The upcoming chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen begins with a discussion among the characters about the feasibility of a small barrier enhancing stability. Kusakabe expresses disbelief, stating that it’s impossible, but Mei Mei playfully remarks how they’ve heard that phrase countless times before.
Kusakabe argues that creating a barrier with a mass smaller than oneself and trapping both the user and the opponent inside would normally lead to its collapse. However, Choso sheds light on the situation, explaining that Gojo is accomplishing this by utilizing his experience of being trapped within the Prison Realm.
Kusakabe then questions how they can alter the conditions of their domains, especially barriers, as they consist of various factors. Higuruma and Hakari inquire if this is really the case, prompting Kusakabe to confirm that their domains are exceptions because they are built within their Cursed Techniques (CT).
The discussion turns to the potential consequences if Gojo’s barrier is destroyed. Mei Mei suggests that Gojo might have aimed to cover the entire range of the Malevolent Shrine. Suddenly, Gojo’s domain barrier begins to shake violently. Yuta realizes that Sukuna must have reduced the Shrine’s range to increase his power output.
Gojo’s domain barrier shatters once again, causing Yuji to become anxious. But soon after, Sukuna’s Shrine also starts to crumble piece by piece. Hakari and the other sorcerers are thrilled by this turn of events.
As Sukuna destroyed Gojo’s barrier from the outside, Gojo managed to inflict enough damage to prevent Sukuna from maintaining his domain as well.
Higuruma points out that since both Sukuna and Gojo’s domains have collapsed, neither of them can use their CT. Maki adds that Gojo can heal his burnt-out CT like he did before, but Angel reveals that since Gojo demonstrated this ability in front of Sukuna, Sukuna can now do it too.
With only one instance of Kenjaku’s assistance, Sukuna learned how to split his soul into 20 cursed objects and subsequently recover his burnt-out CT with RCT, similar to how he transferred himself to Megumi.
Gojo kicks Sukuna and wonders why Sukuna hasn’t attempted to use any other CT besides the Shrine. Despite Gojo having the upper hand against Sukuna for nearly three minutes until his domain was destroyed, he ponders why Sukuna is taking such a risky approach.
As Gojo contemplates this, Mahoraga’s wheel clicks, causing Gojo to feel dizzy and experience a nosebleed.
