Crunchyroll is set to release the English dub for the second season of the supernatural mystery romance anime, In/Spectre. The streaming platform has announced that the English dub of the series will begin airing on Sunday, featuring the returning cast of Lizzie Freeman as Kotoko, Brandon Winckler as Kuro, and Chris Smith as Yokai.

Returning Cast Members and New Staff

Aside from the returning cast, Crunchyroll has also revealed that the English dub staff for the second season includes ADR Production from Bang Zoom! Studios, producer Eric P. Sherman, and casting directors Mami Okada and AJ Gam. The English voice director for the series is Tony Oliver, and Ryan Raydarke serves as the ADR scriptwriter.

The anime premiered on Tokyo MX on January 8, on BS NTV on January 9, and on Animax on January 14. Keiji Gotoh directed the second season of the anime at Brains Base, and Noboru Takagi was in charge of the series scripts. Kentarou Matsumoto was the character designer and chief animation director. NAS produced the project.

Plot and Production

In/Spectre is a Crunchyroll Originals anime that was first released in Japan in January 2020. The series revolves around Kotoko, a girl who was kidnapped by yokai when she was young and turned into a powerful intermediary between the spirit and human worlds. The cost of this power was her eye and leg, but she still manages to watch out for dangerous yokai while developing feelings for a young man named Kuro.

The anime is based on a manga series that was launched by Kyo Shirodaira in Kodansha’s Shōnen Magazine R in April 2015. Kodansha USA Publishing is responsible for releasing the manga in English.
