In LoL Arena, Riot disables Alistar to quickly patch his ultimate

The title of most oppressive support champion in the Arena mode belongs to Taric, not Alistar, but the Minotaur is an unstoppable force when paired with any damage-heavy champions and is great at assisting in scoring.

Arena, the newest mode in League of Legends, is dominated by strong champions, but for the foreseeable future, players won’t be able to use Alistar, an S-tier character, in matches because Riot Games hastily disabled the power pick. After removing the Minotaur from playlists on August 1, the League devs explained that the problem was with his ultimate glitching out in some lobbies.

His premiere ability, Unbreakable Will (his R ability), can remove crowd control effects on himself and reduce incoming physical and magical damage. The dev team didn’t specifically describe the glitch with his ultimate, but it must have been spectacular given that it can remove crowd control effects on himself and reduce incoming physical and magical damage. The League players who had to contend with Alistar in the Arena and were affected by this bug also think that Alistar’s ultimate made him “immortal.”

In LoL Arena, Riot disables Alistar to quickly patch his ultimate:

The title of most oppressive support champion in the Arena mode belongs to Taric, not Alistar, but the Minotaur is an unstoppable force when paired with any damage-heavy champions and is great at assisting in scoring. Alistar is a minotaur, just like Taric. According to statistics from the League Arena stats tracking website MetaScr, given that the bug was connected to his ultimate, it makes sense that he is banned in 30% of games.

When Alistar will make a comeback has not been specified by Riot’s developers. You might need to find a different duo to defeat your enemies if you’re one of the teams that constantly uses the Poppy-Alistar combo or teams the Minotaur with Vayne or Fiora. Jax and Taric, Annie and Fiora, or Taric and Vayne are the teams with the highest win rates right now if you need some recommendations.

Some players felt that because of the high percentage damage reductions and his tanky build, he would essentially take no damage at all, that the bug made him “completely immortal.” And once the circle of death shrank, Alistar would be rendered ineffective because of his ability to use his Headbutt to quickly chunk the health bars of targets outside the circle.

However, Patch 13.15 is now available, and in addition to the Summoners’ Rift changes, Riot also made some changes to the champions in LoL Arena. As a result, the best champions in the 2v2v2v2 game mode will have a different balance of power. The new power picks will need to be researched by players while we wait for Alistar’s bug fix.
