This year’s second Major of CS: GO is going on in Brazil, the most prestigious tournament in CS: GO esports, and will run from Oct. 31 to Nov. 13 with a $1,250,000 prize pool up for grabs. Valve and ESL are in charge of this tournament at IEM Rio Major, for the first event of this magnitude ever held in Brazil, the home of some most passionate Counter-Strike fans. IEM Rio CS: GO Major 2022 sponsored by Intel, DHL, 1XBET and Monster Energy. ESL will also set up a fan fest featuring the famous CS: GO Brazilian streamer Alexandre “Gaules” Borba, who will act as the host and provide commentary for the matches.
