Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to successfully enroll in the Playtest:

Access the Official Test Link:

• Click on the official link provided for the test.

Login or Create a Hoyoverse Account:

• Log in if you already have an account or create a new one on the Hoyoverse platform.

Complete Pre-Registration and Recruitment Survey:

• Provide the necessary pre-registration information and diligently fill out the recruitment survey.

Confirmation of Registration:

Upon completion, you’ll be redirected to your home screen, confirming your successful registration for the playtest. It’s essential to note that registrations are open from the 23rd of August until the 28th of August. The selection process will be random and based on the information you provide in the recruitment survey. Therefore, ensure that you provide accurate details during registration, as changes cannot be made once the process is complete.

For the fortunate individuals selected for the playtest, an email will be sent containing a code. This code can be entered into the PlayStation Store to initiate the download of the test package. Please ensure that you have a minimum of 30 GB of available storage space to accommodate the installation. 

Additionally, syncing your PSN account with your Hoyoverse account is crucial. The playtest itself is scheduled to commence on the 4th of September and, much like the full game, it will be offered entirely free of charge. Furthermore, participants will also be rewarded based on the number of Trailblazers who have successfully registered. All registered users will receive the 4-Star Cavern Relic Musketeer of Wild Wheat set.

In the event that registrations surpass the 1 million mark, participants will gain access to the coveted 4-Star Light Cone known as “The Seriousness of Breakfast (Erudition).” These rewards are expected to be credited to participants’ accounts upon the full release of the game on PlayStation 5. As of the time of writing, the count of individuals who have registered for the test stands at approximately 62,000, adding to the growing anticipation and excitement surrounding the Honkai: Star Rail PlayStation 5 experience.
