Activision has ensured that Modern Warfare 2’s release on October 28 will be attended by a quick pre-season before Season 1 coming on November 16.
On the same day the Warzone Season 5’s battle pass is expiring and the date Warzone 2.0 itself releases, meaning Season 1 is coming on Warzone 2.0’s release date.
As an outcome, gamers will be arriving into Al Mazrah alongside a fresh battle pass and challenges. Due to the Modern Warfare 2’s October release date as opposed to Vanguard’s November 2021 release there will be no Warzone Pacific Season 6 or Warzone Halloween event.

There is a good news for the fans! Two fan-favorite multiplayer maps are said to come back and it’s benn confirmed as Shoot House and Shipment. It will also witness the Tier 1 mode located in MW2, it’s the new name for the classic Hardcore playlists.
Not only that, but also be receiving the M13B and Chimera ARs, with the latter being a reincarnation of CoD: Ghosts’ Honey Badger AR. All that will arrive alongside the typical battle pass, skins and much more.
