Tewatia has no prior experience in gaming or esports, therefore his signing was unexpected. GodLike hasn’t specified what role the all-rounder would play in the organisation, which has rosters in CoD: Mobile, Free Fire, and Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI).

Nonetheless, cricket is India’s most popular sport, and the deal will undoubtedly increase GodLike’s popularity.

In domestic cricket, Tewatia represents the Indian state of Haryana. He’s also been in numerous seasons of the Indian Premier League (IPL), one of cricket’s most popular Twenty20 (T20) tournaments. Gujarat Titans recently purchased the player for the 2022 IPL season.

Chetan “Kronten” Changude, a former professional PUBG Mobile player and content developer, established GodLike Esports in 2018. Suraj “Neyoo” Majumdar, Jonathan Amaral, Abhishek “ZGOD” Choudhary, and Vivek “ClutchGod” Horo are among the most well-known members of the BGMI roster. The team’s coach is Abhijeet “Ghatak” Andhare. Arshpreet “GiLL” Singh and Viren “VIRU” Mahipalsingh were both recently added to the team’s BGMI roster.
