The developers recently revealed a trailer for the update during the Special Program on March 31, 2023. In this article, we will discuss the new desert subarea and the foes that will be introduced in the upcoming update.

New subarea in Sumeru

The new subarea in Sumeru will be unlocked in Genshin Impact 3.6. The desert region is a breath of fresh air for players looking for new challenges, as it will allow them to farm more chests and complete time trial challenges. This new subarea will be the largest desert area in the game, making it an exciting addition to the Nation of Wisdom. New enemies and bosses

The developers are introducing two new bosses in Genshin Impact 3.6. The first boss is Iniquitous Baptist, who belongs to the Abyss Order. Players will encounter this boss while exploring the overworld. The second boss, Apep, the Dragon of Verdure, is a new weekly boss. It is expected that players will need to complete Nahida’s new act in her Story Quest to unlock Apep.\

In addition to the new bosses, the developers are also introducing two new overworld enemies: Anemo Hilichurl Rogue and Hydro Hilichurl Rogue. While it was not announced during the Special Program, it is expected that players will be able to collect Dendroculus in the new desert subarea to finally be able to max their Statues of the Seven in Sumeru.
