Official announcements from Genshin Impact have finally revealed the release dates for patch 2.7. Patch 2.7 was supposed to be released in May, but it was postponed due to the severe pandemic situation in Shanghai. According to official announcements, Genshin Impact patch 2.7 will be released on June 1, 2022. The announcement also stated that patch 2.7 would follow miHoYo’s six-week schedule. The developers of Genshin Impact made an official announcement on all of their social media accounts earlier today. The official announcements kept the community up to date on the new patch 2.7 release date and duration. According to the official announcement, the game will be unavailable for about five hours on May 31, 2022. This is a standard procedure followed by officials prior to patch updates. As a result, the patch 2.7 update will be available for most regions on June 1, 2022.

The announcement also includes the duration of the upcoming patch 2.7 as well as additional information about patch 2.8. Patch 2.7 is expected to follow HoYoverse’s standard patch update schedule of six weeks. After six weeks, officials have promised to keep the community updated on patch 2.8 news.

Genshin Impact banners in patch 2.7

According to reliable sources, the Phase I banners will feature Xiao and Yelan. While Xiao is a 5-star Anemo DPS, Yelan is a new upcoming 5-star who uses a bow and Hydro vision. The following 4-star characters will have a higher drop rate in Phase I banners:

  • Barbara
  • Yanfei
  • Noelle

Arataki Itto will perform a solo rerun of Patch 2.7’s Phase II. Arataki Itto is a fantastic Geo DPS character who wields the Claymore. He is a 5-star character with abilities based on DEF rather than ATK. Kuki Shinobu is the only confirmed 4-star to appear on Itto’s banner. Kuki Shinobu is the first Electro healer and a new upcoming 4-star character.

Both Phase I and Phase II weapon banners will feature the signature weapons of Yelan, Xiao, and Arataki Itto. There is currently no information on the 4-star weapons that will be showcased in these weapon banners.
