Dubai-based esports organisation Galaxy Racer recently announced a three-year-long deal with the Spanish football league LaLiga. As any partnership with an Esports organisation would go, this partnership also will rely on both the organisations collaborating to create original content as well as series. To take this partnership further, both organisations’ players will also take part in these collaborations.

According to the release by Galaxy Racer, the upcoming series would focus on ‘combining global esports, gaming and lifestyle content’ to appeal to both, football as well as esports fans. In order for these collaborations to take place, Galaxy Racer’s influencers will travel to Spain to visit some of the country’s major football clubs. 

The first season of this series is expected to have 10 episodes revolving around the football and Esports organisation.

Each episode will focus on a city, with Barcelona, Madrid, Sevilla, and Valencia some of the places mentioned in the release. The project will have a total of three seasons, all of those could have ten episodes each.

Paul Roy, Galaxy Racer’s CEO, commented: “We are honoured to be partnering with a world-renowned brand like LaLiga for this exclusive brand-new original series, and we are committed to establishing a long-term partnership that shares our vision in fostering unique experiences for our fans globally.”

Regarding the new partnership, Maite Ventura, Managing Director, MENA region for LaLiga, added: “We are excited for this three-year collaboration. Prior to this partnership, Galaxy Racer had announced the appointment of Danny Lopez, the former director of brand and content at UK org Guild. Galaxy Raceralready places some emphasis on content creation, having signed over 20 creators to their ranks and, so they claim, cumulatively raking in over 1 billion views on a monthly basis.

Other partnerships for Galaxy racer

Galaxy Racer also came into partnership with gaming peripherals company Techxhub for its PUBG Mobile players.

Through this partnership, PUBG Mobile players and content creators will have access to best-in-class game room set-ups powered by Techxhub including SteelSeries gaming peripherals, Legion gaming PCs, Vertagear gaming chairs, Thronmax streaming gear, and Playseat racing seats.

Prior to the ban of PUBG Mobile in India, the team was ranked #1 in South Asia and #7 in the World League. The PUBG Mobile squad comprised of 5 players namely Roxx, Owais, MaxKash, MJ, and Ultron.

The organisation currently competes in League of Legends, Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Fortnite, PUBG Mobile, and Garena’s Free Fire. They claim to have over 60 players representing them competitively.
