Nearly six years after its debut, Fortnite has defied the odds and continues to draw well over a million players. This is in part due to Epic’s continued investment in its esports, which provides opportunities to win cash or other advantages. These opportunities have caught the attention of many players, who are eager to take advantage of them.

It takes a lot of communication and collaboration with the tournament organisers to take part in Fortnite tournaments. The contact information for the organisers is typically listed at the top of the page; it is advised that you make a note of this information and try to maintain regular communication throughout the competition.

Every week, Epic Games hosts a number of tournaments, with the players who score the most in each game being declared the winners. In the Fortnite lobby, under the “Compete” tab, you can see upcoming competitions. The “By Epic” tab in the Discover menu will have a special mode when the tournaments are live. Additionally, a sign inviting you to join will be in the lobby.

The majority of these competitions follow the same guidelines as the Arena modes, with players attempting to accumulate the most points through placement and the elimination of rivals. There are some fundamental guidelines, such as that all participants must be 13 years of age or older, enable Multi-Factor Authentication in Fortnite, and have an account level of 15 or higher.

Selecting the Compete tab from the Fortnite main lobby menu will allow you to see which tournaments are scheduled and whether any are currently taking place. Although you can look up information on different tournaments here, this is not where you sign up for a live tournament. You can find active tournaments under the Discover tab in the Fortnite Competitive section. To enter a tournament, go to the Play tab, then the change game mode screen. Return to the Play tab and begin a match as usual after choosing the tournament you want to participate in.

Your Epic Account level must be at least 50, which is a respectable but not excessively high level. The purpose of this is to eliminate spam accounts and guarantee that all participants in tournaments are seasoned Fortnite players. The in-game Career tab is located on the main lobby menu, where you can find your Epic Account level.

While some tournaments happen once a week, others only happen once a month or during a given season. Players should grind these events and Arena modes to advance in the rankings if they intend to compete in the larger in-person Fortnite competitions. They might receive an in-game invitation to these events once they reach a certain level. Just make sure that you are having fun while playing.
