EA SPORTS is slowly taking the wraps off FIFA 23 details. It’s now clear when the game will release, the new features, and much more. In this article, we will be discussing everything you need to know about the game.

The last entry in the franchise introduced a lot of tweaks from FUT Champions Weekend League to Player Career getting new content, but there were some aspects that still needed upgrades. Let’s discuss these aspects in detail.

FIFA 23 release date

All Thanks to FIFA 23’s official debut trailer, EA has revealed that football fans will be able to get their hands on FIFA 23 on September 30, 2022. However, people who pre-order the Ultimate Edition of the game will actually get a chance to dive into FIFA 23 a lot earlier on September 27, this year.

Will FIFA 23 have cross-play?

EA SPORTS is bringing full cross-platform play to the latest entry in the franchise. Known FIFA leaker Fut Sheriff claimed that: “Cross-play will be tested in FIFA 22. Probably won’t be on Ultimate Team, but is def coming in FIFA 23!”

Yes, cross-play is finally coming to FIFA 23, although it will only be applicable to 1v1 game modes. While this might not go down well for everyone’s taste, it could be a good start for the feature going forward with the FIFA franchise.

World Cup 2022 in FIFA 23

During the same announcement that confirmed that FIFA 23 will be the last game to carry FIFA branding, it was also announced that World Cup content is coming back to the game.

The game will feature both the men’s and women’s World Cup and will arrive as free updates and players won’t have to pay any extra cost. The game publisher is yet to confirm the dates yet.
