Dr. Stone’s 4D Science Spinoff

Boichi and Inagaki gave fans a treat with a special manga called Dr. Stone: 4D Science. It’s a three-chapter spinoff published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from November 6 to December 24. Exciting news for English readers: Viz Media has it digitally available.

The spinoff manga, Dr. Stone: 4D Science is like a bonus story after the main Dr. Stone story. It happens after the original story ends, and Senku is on a cool mission to build a time machine making things even more interesting. They released this spinoff to celebrate the second part of Dr. Stone New World, the third season of the anime, which started airing in October.

Boichi, known for Sun-Ken Rock, and Inagaki, who wrote Eyeshield 21, started the Dr. Stone manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2017. It went on an amazing journey and reached its final part in September 2021. The series officially ended in March 2022, and the last volume, the 26th one, was released by Shueisha in July 2022.
