The glow of a successful Dota 2 match leaves us all with a great sense of satisfaction. Sometimes you just want to enjoy your post-game stats, pat yourself (and your teammates) on the back, and bask in your post-game analytics.

You will see a plethora of options in the top left corner when you click on the match you want to view post-game stats for. The scoreboard will provide more specific information about the game, including item builds and consumption, kills, deaths, and assists, as well as stats like net worth, GPM, and XPM. You can chart crucial swings by using the graphs tab, which displays the team’s cumulative net worth and experience over the course of the game.

Users of Dota Plus can only access the breakdowns tab. The damage dealt to each hero is displayed here, broken down into different damage sources like spells, automatic attacks, and items. The most valuable player of the game will be displayed on the MVP screen along with two honorable mentions, as determined by a post-game algorithm.

Third-party sites

Dotabuff, OpenDota, and Stratz are the three main websites for post-game analytics. Dotabuff is likely the most well-known of the three, but some paywalls must be unlocked with a separate Plus subscription from Valves.

More features are included in OpenDota, including a nice story tab that quickly sums up each game and fantasy score breakdowns that can assist you in building your rosters for some rewards. With other cutting-edge features like full minimap playback inside the client itself, Stratz has a neat IMP score that quickly indicates performance at a glance. This feature is useful for watching through games quickly.

You won’t make a mistake choosing any of the three because they are all strong, feature-rich websites. Try them out and see which one you like best. If you use these websites primarily for your personal account, you might discover that the information in your account is not current. You might need to expose public match data in your Dota 2 client if that’s the case.

For these third-party websites to parse your matches and display information, your account must be public. The setting is located in the Social tab of the settings. For them to pull your most recent match data, you might need to visit your preferred stats site and refresh.
