Dandadan Chapter 157 Summary

The previous chapter of Dandadan starts with Zuma talking to a police officer about the problems they faced at the river. Afterwards, they visit a cemetery where the officer shows Zuma a family grave he made for Zuma’s relatives. While they pray, Zuma remembers his family’s hard times and he recalls how his younger brother, Futa, loved the old boots and umbrella their mother gave him. When Futa died, their mother lost hope. Zuma starts crying, wishing he had died instead of Futa. The officer comforts him and says he shouldn’t die. Then, they go back to the officer’s home to eat.

In the present timeline, Momo wakes up and sees Okarun, Serpo and the officer fighting Zuma, who is still under the control of the Fairy Tail card. The officer urges Zuma to resist the card’s control. Zuma tries but the Fairy Tail card realizes what’s happening and tries to escape the world they are all trapped in.

Momo apologizes to Okarun for her past actions but Okarun reassures her, saying he would have done the same. Suddenly, Turbo Granny and her squad arrive. She tells Okarun and Momo to try harder. Okarun asks if she has contacted Rin, who is stationed somewhere. Turbo Granny then uses a Serpo Device to reach out to Rin, ending the chapter.
