According to someone who checks game files the Kar98k and SPAS-12 are two outdated weapons that could return in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 these weapons were once popular but they have not been in the game for a while. According to hints of their return have been discovered in the game files these hints raise the possibility that a future upgrade will include the Kar98k and SPAS-12. The Leaks also discusses other possible new weapons that may be added to the game so fans of the game may be happy to hear this news.

The latest Season 3 update for Call of Duty which is available through certain battle pass tiers brought new weapons like the FJX Horus SMG and MORS sniper rifle. Worry not, though as DLC weapons are always available in the free levels of every pass for free-to-play gamers.
Players got the chance to use the Kar98k in an earlier Warzone version when it was classified as a marksman rifle previous to the launch of the Vanguard in 2021.
