When Danbi asked Seungbin whether he had responded to her confession yet, he responded negatively. Danbi went on to explain that she discovered the headband while doing the laundry. He confirms to her that he spent the night at Nana’s place after she asks him.
Excitedly pulling out the rules paper, Danbi highlights #4 (you are required to inform someone if you are staying at someone’s house). Seungbin accuses Danbi of breaking the rules by searching through his belongings, but he immediately retracts his statement and apologizes.
After Danbi presses Seungbin for an update, we see that he’s spending the weekend with his loved ones. His sister offers him the suggestion of buying flowers as a means to appease an irate female when he approaches her for advice. Meanwhile, Danbi is fuming at work, wondering why Seungbin is always so immature in these situations; she wishes he had just promised to treat her correctly from now on; and she wonders if Nana’s revelation is related.
That he up and disappeared without a trace is something that has bothered her. Seungbin unwillingly buys an expensive flower after visiting a nearby flower shop and asking the salesperson about the prices. Afterward, Danbi returns from work to discover a bouquet of roses and a note on her desk. She blushes as she kisses the flowers. The last scene catches Seungbin off guard when he learns that his notoriously argumentative friend has confessed to a girl and that the two of them are holding hands. Iseul appears out of nowhere at the end of the story, holds his mouth to silence him, and warns him not to scream.
