The first season of the BMPS will begin on May 19, 2022 and will last until June 12, 2022.
Team Soul, owned by Mortal, a former PUBG Mobile Pro player and one of India’s most popular content creators, has qualified for the BMPS Season 1 after a stellar performance in the BMOC Round 4. The team scored 94 points, with finishes accounting for 50 percent of the total. The top six teams from Group 2 advanced to the BMPS S1, while the remaining teams were eliminated from the competition. The top 16 teams (eight invited and eight qualified) competed in six matches in the Group. BMOC Round 4: Team Soul Qualifies for BMPS Season 1
After a disappointing performance at BGIS 2021, Team Soul signed its new BGMI roster. For the past few months, the roster has consistently performed well. The team, led by Omega, was unable to compete in the All Stars Invitational, the first BGMI LAN event.
However, one of the popular teams, GodLike Esports, was unable to secure a spot in the BMPS S1, finishing in eighth place. Other Invited Teams, Revenant, and Entity gaming were also kicked out of the event.

Team Soul got off to a good start in Group 2’s first match. They secured 15 eliminations, with Goblin securing 12 kills. The last zone favoured the team, and they capitalised with a dominant performance. Team Soul finished second with 7 kills in the second match on Miramar. With survival gameplay, Akshat assisted his team in finishing second. TF5 triumphed in the match.
In the third game, the team only scored six points. Despite being eliminated in fourth place, they put on an incredible performance in their fifth match, securing 16 finishes. Akshat and Goblin finished with 8 and 4 points, respectively. For some teams, the final match on Erangel was a game of life and death. They competed for BMPS slots, and Autobotz and Blind eventually took first and second place in the match, respectively.
