Blue Lock Episode Nagi Film Release, Cast, and More Details

The movie features musical contributions from Mitsuhiro Hidaka, better known by his stage name SKY-HI, and Takahiro Nishijima, better known as Nissy. The thrilling theme song of the movie is performed by Nishijima, a well-known member of the band AAA, and Hidaka, another essential member of the group.

Set the day of April 19 for the exciting cinematic experience that anime fans will have with BLUELOCK -Episode Nagi-, which is expected to debut in Japan. The spinoff manga explores Seishirō Nagi’s past and provides details about his path leading up to the infamous Blue Lock facility. Fans are in for a treat: Kodansha USA Publishing has officially announced that the spinoff manga will be published in print beginning in the autumn of 2024.

Returning Staff, Crew and Anime Adaptation

Fans may re-connect with their favourite characters and the behind-the-scenes creative team in this film. Under the 8-Bit brand, associate director Shunsuke Ishikawa (of the television animation) directs the movie. The series scripts are overseen and written by Taku Kishimoto, who is well-known for his work on critically praised shows like Haikyu!! and 2019 Fruits Basket. Kaneshiro also provides oversight. Character design credit goes to Nomura, and the film’s engrossing soundtrack is created by Jun Murayama.

After its October 2022 Japanese premiere, the critically acclaimed BLUELOCK TV anime is expected to return with a second season that will carry on the compelling narrative. The series’ reputation as a global sensation was further cemented when fans all over the world were able to access both subbed and dubbed versions of it through Crunchyroll, one of the top anime streaming services.

The first English-language manga for the Blue Lock series is now available digitally by Kodansha USA Publishing, along with print versions. With its gripping story and endearing characters, the anime explores the search for an Ace Striker to help Japan’s side win.
