An Overwatch 2 player has discovered a D.Va skin that appears to have been removed from The Elements.Reddit user Beertrooper shared a comparison video yesterday showing D.Va’s 2020 All-Star skin, as it used to look and as it looks now. In the previous version of the skin, the bodice and stockings of D.Va’s bodysuit featured a shimmering glitter effect that looked like stars. The stars move as the D.Va itself moves, creating a celestial effect. In the new version of the skin, it appears as if the glow effect has been removed. In this version, D.Va’s bodysuit looks more one-dimensional without the shimmers. If you need more information about Overwatch 2 fans Unearth D.Va All-Star Skin Glitch then read carefully and don’t forget to share with your friends.

It is unclear whether the removal of the glow effect was purposeful or just a bug. “I paid for it and I want it like that,” Bertrooper said in the post, lamenting the loss of the “stars” from the skin. The skin was originally available as an Overwatch League tie-in skin in late 2020 and cost 200 OWL tokens, which is roughly equivalent to $12. Players can either buy tokens or earn them by watching OWL matches on YouTube.

In the comments, other players pointed out several other skins that either look bad or have had elements removed. One fan pointed out that Cultist, a popular Zenyatta skin, looks like some of Zen’s expressions have had its Mythic-specific animations removed. Another shared a list of problems they encountered, including an untextured junkroot R.I.P.

Tire on one skin and no animation transition on face changer sombra. The new Orisa skin has this effect though, it seems the dva effect was only noticed at least by this player now that the Orisa skin has the effect.Likely a coincidence but maybe blizzard took it off so that they can say it’s a brand new special effect for this new skin you can buy.

“They modified the D.va all stars skin, they took the stars out of her suit and now it looks like a regular jumpsuit, I paid for it and I want it the way it was… Besides, why did they make it worse? (Here I leave a video for you guys to see what I mean).”Overwatch 2 developer Blizzard Entertainment has not made a statement regarding the changed skin. If the lack of brightness is indeed a bug, it will be quietly fixed in an upcoming patch. If you like this article then don’t forget to share with your friends.
