Apex Contagion can be obtained in the same way as the other Prestige skins and all of the Heirlooms through two well-known methods. The first is accessible right away and calls for players to gather all 24 of the one-time cosmetics that were distributed as part of the Veiled collection event. For the duration of the event, players may use Apex Coins, Crafting Metals, or Veiled Collection Event Apex Packs to do this. Players will receive the tier-one version of the new Prestige skin once they have unlocked all of the event’s items.

Even though gathering all of the event cosmetics is undoubtedly expensive, it’s arguably the best way to get the Apex Contagion skin. The tier one Caustic Prestige skin will be offered in the Mythic Shop for 150 Heirloom Shards following the conclusion of the Veiled event. Heirloom Shards are typically hard to find because they are only guaranteed once every 500 attempts and have a 0.2 percent chance of dropping in any typical Apex Pack.

The Veiled Collection event packs can be purchased from the store and are the quickest way to unlock Caustic’s Prestige skin in Apex Legends. 24 new cosmetic items are included in the event, 12 of which are Legendary rarities and the rest are Epic. Players can unlock these cosmetics through store promotions or by opening the Collection event packs, which cost 700 Apex Coins each. Utilizing one’s crafting metals is a fantastic way to save money on the entire transaction. Players can use their saved Crafting Metals to unlock a few skins for no cost, and each Epic rarity item costs 800 Crafting Metals.

Players can access two more variants of the Apex Contagion skin after obtaining its first tier, in addition to a finishing move that is exclusive to the cosmetic. The higher tiers of the Apex Contagion offering, like the previously released Prestige skins, are unlocked by successfully completing challenges.

Once players have the Prestige skin, they can immediately unlock the tier two version challenge, which only requires them to deal 30,000 damage while using Caustic. After accomplishing that objective, players must deal 100,000 damage with Caustic in order to advance to the third challenge, which also awards the special Toxic Scream finisher as a bonus.
