Mohammad Musa is a product of Pakistan’s U19 setup, Musa rise to fame came after his debut season with Islamabad United in 2019 season of the Pakistan Super League, where his lightning bowling speed alongside accurate line and length was clearly visible. Musa was added to the 2018 U19 World Cup squad and the pacer caught the eyes of several cricketers. The right-arm quick made his first-class debut playing for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited in the 2018/19 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy tournament.

Islamabad United bagged Musa for the 2019 edition of the Pakistan Super League, in which he played 7 matches and grabbed 6 wickets in the tournament. But the big talking point was about his pace as Musa consistently clocked over 140kph and troubled the batsmen at will. The North-West Frontier cricketer was a surprise pick for the tour of Australia. The youngster was selected in the Test squad to play against the Aussie, Musa failed to impress on his debut as he went wicketless and conceded 114 runs. Musa made his ODI debut in 2020 against Zimbabwe and announced his arrival at the big stage with a match-winning effort of 2 for 21 in 6.1 overs.
