West Indies will host Bangladesh in the second and final Test at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, starting from June 24. The hosts won the first Test by seven wickets at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua on Sunday. The West Indies are in position to sweep the Test series under the captaincy of Kraigg Braithwaite.
Bangladesh were bundled out for 103 runs in the first innings after being put into bat. Brathwaite (94) and Jermaine Blackwood (63) played brilliant knocks in the first innings to guide the West Indies to 265. Bangladesh off-spinner Mehidy Hasan was the pick of the bowlers as he scalped four wickets. The visitors, in response, scored 245 runs banking on fine half-centuries from Shakib Al Hasan (63) and Narul Hasan (64) in the second innings. The hosts chased down the target with seven wickets in hand to take a comfortable lead in the series.

Both teams will move to the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia for the second Test. The hosts are no stranger to the venue as they have played Test matches at this stadium regularly. Their highest score at the venue is 477/9d which came against Sri Lanka in June, 2003 while the West Indies great Brian Lara and fast bowling spearhead Kemar Roach record the most runs and wickets at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium respectively.
