In the first hour of the morning session on Day 2 in the first Test, Shreyas Iyer was clean bowled by Ebadot Hossain, stunning the Indian Cricket Team. The bowlers from Bangladesh displayed excellent discipline by drying the boundaries and making sure they don’t give any freebies. The oddball was keeping low, so Ravichandran Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav adopted a conservative approach. As the right-handed batter gradually launched an offensive against the opposition, Ashwin ensured that the side didn’t lose any more wickets. Ashwin scored 58 runs in 113 balls, with two fours and two sixes.

Shakib, the captain of Bangladesh, erred by failing to introduce himself at the beginning of the attack. The ability to break up partnerships is a speciality of the all-arounder. Bangladesh was reeling at 100-5 when this article was written.
