WATCH: Former Pakistan pacer calls South Africa chokers after their loss to the Dutch

South Africa were robbed of a point against Zimbabwe when rain fell, but they had this in hand to compensate and simply buckled under pressure. They always manage to lose in ICC competitions. Roelof van der Merwe took that magnificent catch of David Miller to get that huge wicket against his previous team. They came close in 2014, but lost by 6 runs; on November 6, they held their nerve to win by 13 runs. On a two-paced pitch, they didn’t bowl easy lengths frequently and instead generated pressure. South Africa sought to push the pace but faltered.

What a day for the Dutch and the cricketing community! With Pakistan winning their game against Bangladesh, the Dutch have now confirmed a place in the T20 World Cup 2024 set to be held in the West Indies and the USA.

Shoaib Akhtar calls South Africa Chokers

Earlier the former Pakistan pacer has said that Pakistan would be leaving Australia early and India will follow them a week later but on November 6, the pacer took a completely different turn and took a dig at the Proteas. The Bavuma-led side beat India comfortably but were then beaten by Pakistan and the Netherlands, they were one of the favourites in the tournament but they faltered when it mattered the most.
