Pakistan set a low target of 167 runs for England to win, and the visitors needed only 55 runs on the fourth day to win with eight wickets in hand. They did so easily as Ducket and Stokes finished things off in style. The tourists, who had dominated the first two Tests in Rawalpindi and Multan, easily chased down the low mark in their last innings to complete a 3-0 series whitewash. Pakistan scored 304 runs in the first innings. Crawley got out for a duck in the first innings. However, Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope had a 58-run stand for the second wicket to keep the innings balanced.

Harry Brook was England’s top performer, scoring a stunning century while also creating key partnerships with Ollie Pope, skipper Ben Stokes, and wicketkeeper-batter Ben Foakes. Mark Wood’s heroics near the end helped England finish with a 50-run victory. The Pakistani batsmen were unable to produce anything in the second innings, as English debutant Rehan Ahmed stole the show. As he etched his name in the history books, the 18-year-old became the youngest player in Test cricket history to bring up a five-wicket haul. The teenage spinner took important wickets of Babar Azam, Saud Shakeel, and Mohammad Rizwan, as well as Agha Salman and Mohammad Wasim.
