The 2022 T20 Women’s Asia Cup started on October 1, with seven teams taking part in the tournament – India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE, Malaysia and Thailand. A total of 24 matches will take place with the final match to be played on October 16 as well. However, all the matches will be played at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium and Sylhet Outer Cricket Stadium.

Notably, Thailand finished fourth in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier 2022 in Dubai as well. And, they are likely to do well in their next match as well. On the other hand, United Arab Emirates Women have been in good form as they recently beat the USA in the 7th Place Playoff match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier 2022, although they had a poor start in the Asia Cup. However, they are likely to do well in their upcoming game.
