On Tuesday, Yorkshire will play against Lancashire in the T20 Blast Nouth Group at the Headingley, Leeds. Yorkshire is currently at the fifth position in the points table having won only two and losing two whereas one ended with no result and 5 points also. On the other hand, Lancashire are placed first in the points table with four wins and a tied match alongside 9 points in their name as well.
Yorkshire reached the third spot with a comfortable six-wicket win over Durham in a high-scoring game in Leeds. Graham Clark and Oliver Robinson’s half-centuries had led Durham to a huge 207 runs total after opting to bat first. However, Yorkshire opener Adam Lyth’s 33-ball 77 and skipper David Willey‘s 39-ball 75* helped them reach the finish line in just 17.4 overs as well. On the other hand, Lancashire registered a narrow two-wicket win over Northamptonshire with a ball to spare at Old Trafford to reach the top of the points table.

While chasing a target of 154, Lancashire needed 8 runs off the final over whereas Jimmy Neesham was bowling the last over. He had already claimed two wickets in the over and four in the match but he bowled four extras and the winning runs came off a no-ball. And, Tim David continued to impress after a successful maiden IPL stint with a 26-ball 41, helping Lancashire in control of the chase after they lost early wickets as well.
