Worcestershire is currently at the bottom of the points table with one win and seven defeats alongside 2 points in their name whereas Yorkshire is currently at the fourth in the points table having won four games and losing three with 9 points as well.
As far as Worcestershire’s last game is concerned, they lost to Northamptonshire by a huge 73 runs. Chris Lynn’s fourth T20 century (113*) off 57 deliveries and Joshua Cobb’s all-round brilliance helped their side to win by a huge margin over Worcestershire. Lynn hit nine sixes and eight fours to help his side put up a decent total of 220 runs for 3 after electing to bat. Cobb also smashed a 30-ball 50. Later, Cobb’s maiden T20 fifer, along with Tom Taylor’s triple strike dismantled the Worcestershire’s batting order. Barring Ed Barnard’s 42, others failed to contribute much and they were eventually bundled out for 164 in the 17th over as well.

On the other hand, Yorkshire registered a convincing 10-wicket win over Warwickshire in Birmingham, chasing down 102 runs in just 12.5 overs as well. The bowlers did quite well as Warwickshire couldn’t manage to stay long in the middle. Chris Benjamin (26), Adam Hose (20) and Jake Lintott (16) were the only players who could manage to score a bit before being bundled out in 16.5 overs. Meanwhile, openers Adam Lyth (58) and Dawid Malan (38) then took the team to the finish line without any hurdles.
