The upcoming game between Warwickshire and Derbyshire is going to be a nail-biting one on Sunday, June 19 at the Queen’s Park in Chesterfield. Warwickshire is currently at the third position in the points table, having won five and losing three games with 10 points as well. Meanwhile, Derbyshire is placed at fifth in the points table with four wins and as many defeats alongside 8 points in their name as well.

Warwickshire lost to Yorkshire by 10 wickets in Birmingham while chasing down the required 102 runs in just 12.5 overs in their last game. The bowlers were impressive as Warwickshire managed to strike early with quick scalps. Chris Benjamin (26), Adam Hose (20) and Jake Lintott (16) were the only notable contributors with the bat to take Warwickshire to a score of 101 before being bowled out in 16.5 overs as well. Meanwhile, openers Adam Lyth (58) and Dawid Malan (38) successfully chased down without any hurdles as well within 13 overs.

On the other hand, Derbyshire registered yet another win over Worcestershire by 39 runs win in Worcester. Asked to bat first, Derbyshire got off to a good start, led by opener Shan Masood’s 47-ball 65. Cameos along with that helped them finish with 168 runs on the board. However, apart from Minus Brett D’Oliveira (55) and Jack Haynes’s 35, no other batter could reach the double figures as Derbyshire picked wickets at regular intervals and restricted the hosts to 129/9 in their 20 overs as well.
