Sri Lanka will host Pakistan in the second Test at the Galle International Stadium on Sunday. The hosts currently trail the two-Test series 0-1 and will be looking to draw level in the final Test. Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by four wickets in the first Test and will be looking for a clean sweep.
Veteran Sri Lanka batter Dinesh Chandimal and opener Oshada Fernando were among the star performers with the bat in the first Test for the hosts while left-arm spinner Prabath Jayasuriya weaved his magic to pick up nine wickets in the match. The hosts, however, will be wary of Pakistan captain Babar Azam and opener Abdullah Shafique in the second match.
Ahead of the series, Pakistan had last played a Test match at the Galle International Stadium in 2015. The memories of their last visit at the venue will be fresh as they won the contest against Sri Lanka by 10 wickets. Their highest total at the venue records at a massive 600 runs and the visitors will look to take inspiration from their past performance in the match.
