Sri Lanka will lockhorns with Bangladesh in the 5th match of Asia Cup 2022 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday. Both teams are in a do-or-die situation to progress to the Super 4 contest from Group B in Asia Cup 2022. Sri Lanka and Bangladesh opened their campaign in Asia Cup 2022 with a loss against Afghanistan. As a result, the Afghans became the first team from Group B to qualify for the Super 4s of the continental event.
Sri Lanka were outclassed by Afghanistan in their inaugural match of Asia Cup 2022 by eight wickets while Bangladesh lost by seven wickets to them. However, the sides led by Dasun Shanaka and Shakib Al Hasan respectively, will look to put their best foot forward to qualify for the next round.
